Morgan out of Sanremo for admission of using drugs
“I don’t use cocaine to go crazy, I am not interested in that. I smoke it only as an anti-depressive. Psychiatrists have always given me very strong medicines that made me sick. But cocaine is much better. Even Freud used to prescribe it.” These words caused the exclusion of Morgan (real name Marco Castoldi) from the Sanremo Music Festival.
The popular Italian singer and songwriter, particularly famous after the success of the Tv music programme “X Factor”, actually seems to be very upset about what happened in the past two days, soon after his interview to Max, a monthly magazine, in which he declared to smoke cocaine.
Raiuno Director, Mauro Mazza, explained that: “Rai television has a certain ethic code and precise rules, that all the people who want to work here has to respect”. By contrast, Morgan, who was very sorry said there is no point in excluding him because – he claimed- he is already in rehab.

I agree with the exclusion. Sanremo is a competition for singers where people used to vote their best singer. I think if Morgan stayed in the competition this would be unfair for the others competitors…byeeeeee

@Giuseppina: thank you very much for your comment. Everyone can have his/her own opinion, because he is a very good musician but we all know that “fame has its price!”
The point is not how many people use drugs, but the fact that many young people look up to him and then they soon start thinking that “smoking cocaine”, for example, is a great thing to do, … because Morgan says so and he does it … WHICH IS CLEARLY NOOOOOOT!!!!!
